Scenario

You use a username and password to log in to Exclaimer, and you now wish to log in using either Microsoft or Google authentication as a Single Sign-On (SSO).

Resolution

Adding an SSO

To add a Google or Microsoft SSO:
  1. Log in to your Exclaimer account.

  2. If you have only one subscription, your subscription will launch automatically. Navigate to the portal by selecting the initials icon in the header bar to open the Accounts menu, then selecting Account.


    The Account menu is found under the initials icon. The initials are of the user currently logged in.
  3. In the portal, select the Account tab.


    Select Account to open the Account tab.

  4. In the Security section, under Third-party authentication, select either Sign in with Google or Sign in with Microsoft.


    Select either Sign in with Microsoft or Sign in with Google.

  5. Sign into your Microsoft or Google account. The email address associated with the account is added to the Third party authentication section in the portal, and you can now sign in to Exclaimer using the associated Microsoft or Google credentials.

Removing an SSO

To remove a Google or Microsoft SSO:

The Third-party authentication section displays a list of all authentications approved for use with Exclaimer.

  1. Log in to your Exclaimer account.

  2. If you have only one subscription, your subscription will launch automatically. Navigate to the portal by selecting the initials icon to open the Account menu, then selecting Account.


    The Account menu is found under the initials icon. The initials are of the user currently logged in.

  3. In the portal, select the Accounts tab.


    Select Account to open the Account tab.

  4. In the Security section, under Third-party authentication, select Remove. This displays the Confirm window and sends a security code by email.


    The Remove button is found next to the details of the SSO.

  5. Enter the code from the email in the Authentication token entry field.

  6. Select Remove. You can now no longer sign in to Exclaimer using the Microsoft or Google credentials you removed.
